Preliminary results
Outputs are screening calculations based only on the values entered and the simplified method stated on the applicable tool. They are not stamped calculations, construction documents, operating instructions, or safety approvals.
Required independent review
A qualified engineer must confirm the governing code, service conditions, composition, property data, units, tolerances, failure consequences, equipment ratings, vendor coefficients, and calculation method before any selection, purchase, fabrication, installation, or operation.
Excluded considerations
Unless explicitly stated, calculations may exclude transient behavior, reaction hazards, contamination, two-phase flow, Reynolds corrections, noise, vibration, material compatibility, relief scenarios, fabrication tolerances, control stability, fire exposure, and manufacturer-specific limitations.
High-consequence services
